Dressing up is a Game

So, continuing with November’s subject I am going to talk about a really fun website. Probably a lot of you know it but for the ones that maybe don’t, I am sure you are going to like it. The website’s name is i-dressup.com and it has cool games consisting in dressing up these cartoon girls.

Continuando con nuestro tema de Noviembre hoy voy a hablar de una web muy divertida. Probablemente muchos de ustedes lo conocen pero para los que no, estoy segura que les va a gustar. El nombre de ls página es i-dressup.com y tiene juegos que consisten en vestir a chicas de cartoon.

They have lots of options like dressing up celebrities or brides. I am not the biggest fan of it but I like the designer’s games. These games consist on picking a collection from a designer or brand and then dress up a girl with it. They have plenty of designers; they are especially good with classics. They have Chanel, Carolina Herrera, Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, all those are clear. I do miss some designers, especially because my two favorites are not in the website. Another thing is that you can change the girl’s characteristics so it looks like you witch I always do.

Tienen muchas opciones como vestir celebridades o novias. No soy la mayor fan de estos pero me gustan los juegos de diseñadores. Estos consisten en elegir alguna colección de un diseñador o una marca y vestir a una chica con ella. Tienen muchos diseñadores; son especialmente completos en clásicos. Tienen Chanel, Dior, Oscar de la Renta; todos estos están. Aún así si echo de menos algunos diseñadores, especialmente porque mis dos favoritos no están en la pagina. Otra cosa es que puedes cambiar las características de la muñequita para que se parezca a ti.

Concluding, it is fun, is interesting if you hate some designer’s website (because some are terrible and you can’t always find what you want) you can maybe try to look for what you want here, you can get some inspiration and check out old and new collections.

En conclusión, es divertido, es interesante si odias la página web de algún diseñador (algunas son desastrosas y excesivamente pesadas) porque puedes buscar aquí algo que necesites, puedes simplemente inspirarte y seguirle la pista a algunas colecciones (viejas y nuevas).

Every girl has her dress

Hi! I know I’ve been absent for a while but I had some things going on. I want to apologize for that and I promise to come back writing more often. Also, I came with an idea to organize the blog in a funnier and different way. So now we are going to have a monthly theme. Let’s say a month on how to do things by yourself or about new designers (I have a lot of ideas but if there is something you want to see let me know). Hopefully, this will give a lot of information about the subjects we treat here and will bring some organization to the table. Sometimes I have too many ideas and I feel that it takes some consistence away from the blog because I can’t help to publish everything I do; I hope this helps me to resist from doing it.

¡Hola! Sé que he estado ausente por un tiempo pero tuve muchas cosas que hacer por unas semanas. Quiero pedir perdón por esto y prometer que ahora que vuelvo escribiré mucho más seguido. También, voy a cambiar un poco el blog para tratar que sea más divertido y diferente. Ahora tendremos temas mensuales. Por ejemplo, un mes sobre cómo hacer cosas tu misma, nuevos diseñadores o favoritos que parecen ser los artículos más populares (tengo muchas ideas pero acepto cualquier clase de peticiones). Espero que esto ayude a tratar los temas de los que se habla de una manera mucho más completa y brinde un poco de organización a todo. Algunas veces tengo tantas ideas tan distintas que siento que al hablar de cualquier cosa que se me ocurre quito mucha consistencia al blog. Espero que de esta forma me obligue a mi misma a resistirme de publicar todo y preparar mucho mejor los temas.

If you allow me, I want to begin this phase with something fun. So, I thought about pulling up this game together. I’ll be posting little games trough November that will let me show different fashion, make up and beauty items that I want to have or have right now. So the game is simple and is about connecting items with ideas. I will start with night dresses and basically it will be about witch one will help you look in certain way. I am going to tell you the ways I will like to look in a night out and show you some dresses. At the end you will see witch dress goes with what look. Tell me if you have another options or ways to connect the dresses with the looks or questions about them (stores, how to get them, etc). Hope you like it and subscribe to keep playing trough the month.

Quiero empezar esta nueva fase del blog con algo divertido. Para esto, pensé en armar una especie de juego durante Noviembre. Voy a publicar pequeños juegos o trivias durante el mes para mostrarles ítems que tengo o quiero tener en este momento. El juego es muy simple y consiste básicamente en conectar ítems con ideas. Voy a empezar con vestidos y será acerca de identificar cuál de ellos te ayudará a lucir de cierta manera. Así, diré las diferentes opciones de looks y mostraré fotos de algunos vestidos. Al final, encontraras que vestido va con cual look. Díganme si tienen otras opciones o maneras de conectar las cosas o cualquier pregunta acerca de los ítems que publiqué (marca, donde comprarlo, etc).
